How downloads work
What happens after you buy, where your files go, and what to do if they do not arrive.
What happens after you pay
Everything in the shop is a digital file, so there is nothing to post and nothing to wait for. The moment your payment clears you get two things: a download link on the confirmation screen, and the same link by email.
The confirmation screen link works immediately. Use it if you want the files right now — you do not need to wait for the email.
If the email hasn't arrived
Almost always one of three things:
- It landed in promotions or spam. Search your mail for the shop name rather than scrolling.
- There is a typo in the address entered at checkout. It happens constantly and it is easy to fix — send us the order number and we will resend.
- Your provider is slow. Give it fifteen minutes before assuming something broke.
If none of those explain it, email us with the address you used and we will send the files over by hand.
Downloading on a phone
Phones handle PDFs inconsistently. If a file will not open or seems to vanish after downloading, open the link on a laptop instead — or, on iPhone, tap the share icon and choose Save to Filesrather than opening it in the browser preview.
How long the links last
Download links stay live so you can come back for the same file later. Even so, save a copy somewhere you control — a cloud drive folder is ideal — so your files do not depend on an email you might delete.
Using files in GoodNotes or Notability
Every file is a standard PDF, so it imports into any note-taking app that accepts PDFs. Download it first, then use the app's import function. Pages marked hyperlinked have working tabs inside the PDF; the rest are single sheets meant for printing.
